Late Summer/Fall Swimming Lessons Available Through Portland Parks & Recreation
 
(Portland, OR) - Miss out on summer swimming lessons?  Want your children to develop or improve swimming and water-safety skills throughout the year?
 
Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R) offers swimming lessons year-round.  Registration for the fall lesson sessions at 6 PP&R indoor pools and begins August 8th.  Lessons are available for swimmers of all skill levels from age 6 months through adult.  Group, semi-private and private lessons are offered.

PP&R Aquatics
PP&R’s nationally recognized aquatics program provides swimming lessons to over 25,000 children annually, more than any other organization in the city. Over 800,000 visits are made by swimmers of all ages to our six indoor and seven outdoor pools every year. In addition, our aquatics program is among the largest employers of youth in the city during the summer. Employment opportunities are available year-round for full or part time positions. Lifeguard and Swim Instructor certification classes begin in September.
